Artist's Description
Bible verse John 1:29 says, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world". In Old Testament times Jewish Priests in the temple at Jerusalem would sacrifice lambs daily for the sins of the people. Later, John the Baptist referred to Jesus as the Lamb of God, because when Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross our sins were atoned for completely! Now all who put their trust in Jesus will be saved, and live forever in Heaven.
