Ever since this cat's owners bought him that pearl collar he has been in love with this painting by Johannes Vermeer. Called various things over the centuries, towards the end of the 20th century it became known by its present title, Girl with the Pearl Earring. The black cat doesn't know his collar is not made of real pearls, and please don't tell him! He thinks they are the real deal.
