I love to visit art museums and take my time looking at the artwork. Often I will find a painting so fascinating that I wish I could magically transport myself into it. Have you ever felt that way? My black cat has! His favorite painting of all time is Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh. Painted in 1889, it depicts the view from the east-facing window of his asylum room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence just before sunrise, with the addition of an imaginary village. I thought I would make my black cat's wish come true, and allow him to be right there under the swirling, star-filled sky, gazing down on the dreamy village below. Gosh I wish I were him!
