This is my version of a colorful African parrot. He's my version since I did not follow the reference photo exactly, but did my own artistic thing. It's like I created a whole new parrot! You might not see him flying around the jungles of Africa, but he'll look swell as artwork in your home.
This is a watercolor and ink painting I created while participating in an art Challenge with other artists here at Fineartamerica. Our goal is to create a brand new piece of art each day for five days straight. The theme for this Challenge is the color GREEN. I will be creating watercolor and ink paintings for the challenge as I aim to improve my watercolor skills. This is Day 2.
