Love the orange!

On this image it looks like the dimpled rind of an orange and works!

Artist's Description

Day 142, practice sketch of an orange. I simply cannot achieve a solid coverage using my colored pencils. No matter how many layers I do, the white of the paper still shows up. Any fellow artists out there have any tips?? I even purchased a Vellum Bristol pad to use, thinking it would improve things. Nope.
