Description
What's better than one can? Toucans!! This watercolor painting depicts a keel-billed toucan, also known as a sulfur-breasted toucan or a rainbow-billed toucan. He is a colorful Latin American member of the toucan family. The species is found in tropical jungles from southern Mexico to Colombia. It is an omnivorous forest bird that feeds on fruits, seeds, insects, invertebrates, lizards, snakes, and small birds and their eggs. I think he's one of the prettiest of toucans.
This is a watercolor painting I created while participating in an art Challenge with other artists here at Fineartamerica. Our goal is to create a brand new piece of art each day for five days straight. The theme for this Challenge is the color GREEN. I will be creating watercolor paintings for the challenge as I aim to improve my watercolor skills. This is Day 3.
