Mid century modern inspired watercolor featuring ovals and circles in shades of blue, green and purple with a botanical line drawing in ink. Watercolors fascinate me with their translucent properties. I love how where two shapes overlap an entirely new color is created, as if by magic!This is a watercolor painting I created while participating in an art Challenge with other artists here at Fineartamerica. Our goal is to create a brand new piece of art each day for six days straight. The theme for this Challenge is the color BLUE.
