I have always been fascinated with mid century modern gravel art, sometimes called pebble art. You find them in all sorts of subject matter, but my favorite are bottles and decanters. Recently I bought some colored crushed glass, black cord and glue and set out to make my own. It is a set of decanters, similar to these, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out, but I can tell you, it's not easy! A lot of talent went into those vintage pieces, and those vintage pieces are getting harder and harder to find. Not to worry. I've created these designs to give you the same look of the gravel art pieces from the 50s and 60s. Bright colors of green, turquoise blue and orange outlined in black on a white background.
