Artist's Description
Have you driven around the neighborhoods of Palm Springs? Palm Springs, a city in the Sonoran Desert of southern California, is known for its many wonderful examples of mid century modern houses. You will often find colorful front doors on these historic gems. I am going to be using my new watercolor paints to paint the front exteriors of a few of these homes, to showcase their amazing front doors. Here is one in aqua. Don't you just love it?
This watercolor painting on bright white watercolor paper was my Day 84 entry in the 100 day challenge I'm participating in at Fineartamerica with other artists. We aim to create one new piece of art a day for 100 consecutive days.
