I love beaches. I love sitting under a big umbrella and watching the sparkling blue water move in and out, in and out, creating white foam when it reaches the edge of the sand. I love the way my feet feel walking on the soft, warm sand. I love listening to the birds above and the laughing of children playing and building castles nearby. I love watching for ships cruising far out at sea. They look deceptively tiny. I love getting a little too warm and then cooling off by swimming in the refreshing water. There is nothing as relaxing as spending time at the beach!This ink and watercolor painting is inspired by my love of beaches. I am participating in a 7 day Challenge with other artists here on FAA. The theme for the Challenge is to create a piece of artwork with a LIQUID in it, for seven straight days This piece is my Day 4.
