Artist's Description
Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow? With silver bells, and cockle shells, And pretty maids all in a row. We chanted that rhyme as children and I never understood what cockle shells had to do with a garden. Oh well. I've painted some flowers with pretty leaves all in a row in shades of green, yellow, and blue greens, on a dark red background. Happy leaves dance along the ground.
This painting on bright white watercolor paper was hand painted using acrylic paint and ink. It was my Day 96 entry in the 100 day challenge I'm participating in at Fineartamerica with other artists. We aim to create one new piece of art a day for 100 consecutive days.
