Description
1971 King Seeley Thermos bottle 7263 in retro avocado green. Thermos has had the hottest products since 1904. Invented in 1892 by Sir James Dewar, a scientist at Oxford University, the vacuum flask was not manufactured for commercial use until 1904, when two German glass blowers formed Thermos GmbH. They held a contest to name the vacuum flask and a resident of Munich submitted "Thermos", which came from the Greek word "Therme" meaning "heat".
I love vintage thermos bottles. This is my tribute to them. Design has a built in white border.

I like your design on this thermos. I still have a thermos around here somewhere, but there was no design on it.
Donna Mibus replied:
Thank you Lois! It's a vintage design that was actually on this Thermos. Wish they still made cute Thermos bottles like this today.
