Description
When my two children were young we'd celebrate the first cool day by getting down our Fall decorations. We had a little village of light up houses, carved wooden Pilgrim people, stuffed crows and scarecrows, and Autumn wreathes and candles. We'd head to the market and rummage through the big bins of pumpkins to find THE most perfect one. It would serve as a decoration, and then later we'd carve a face into it for Halloween. I still love finding a perfect pumpkin, don't you?
I drew this pumpkin in black ink and painted it with watercolors. It brings back those happy Fall memories for me.
