Description
Calm waters in turquoise blue with an inky navy blue night sky above. I love to be near the water, either by the sea or a lake. It is especially calming when the waters are still. I'm always reminded of the time Jesus calmed the storm. He was in a boat with His disciples in the Sea of Galilee when a storm suddenly came up. The boat was filling with water, but Jesus was calmly asleep in the stern. His disciples awoke Him and asked him didn't he care if they drowned? Jesus got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Instantly the wind died down and it was completely calm. Jesus said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Have you no faith?” I love this story. It reminds me that Jesus is stronger than any storm that might come into my life. Therefore I will not be afraid.
