The Joy of Blues Circles metal print by Donna Mibus. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Oxymoron title for sure. I mean, if you have the blues you do not feel joy. But Blues in this case refers to the color blue, and it comes in so many hues and shades which I find joyful, especially when applied to circles. I love math! I was that weird kid in high school who took advanced math as an elective. Circles are all about math, so of course they fascinate me. Did you know you can always place six circles around one if you make them all the same size? Isn't that fascinating?
This abstract, celebrating both the various shades of blues and circles, was my Day 95 entry in the 100 day challenge I'm participating in at Fineartamerica with other artists. We aim to create one new piece of art a day for 100 consecutive days. It was hand painted using acrylic paints on an art board.
