Description
Geometric shapes were a very popular design element of modern decorating in the mid century. This painting features five trapezoids in a tranquil color palette. I find cool colors such as blues, aqua greens, lilac and purple pink very calming. I chose to paint the background a dark gray so the colors would stand out.
This painting was my Day 46 entry in the 100 day challenge I'm participating in at Fineartamerica with other artists. It was hand painted using acrylic paint and ink on an 8" X 10" canvas board.
