Description

This piece has special meaning for me. When I was growing up my mother had a framed picture over the sofa, and it was of this painting by Albert Anker, titled, The Sunday School Walk. I loved that picture. When I started doing my cat at the museum series I thought about doing this piece, but alas! I did not know what the piece was called. A Facebook follower came to my rescue! I had an old childhood photo that I shared on my Facebook page, showing the picture and this person (an angel!) managed to search and find it on the internet. So now I had a name and even the painter. What a blessing! I am very grateful to that dear person for helping me. The white cat is my childhood cat. His name was Cotton.
