Artist's Description

Companion to Line Drawing Botanical 1, 2 and 3. I saw an article titled, How to Get Rid of Dandelions, and thought to myself, why would anyone want to get rid of them? Their yellow flowers and seed heads are so lovely! I delight in picking the seed heads and blowing on them, sending the seeds dancing off into the air.
This is a watercolor painting I created while participating in an art Challenge with other artists here at Fineartamerica. Our goal is to create a brand new piece of art each day for six days straight. The theme for this Challenge is the color BLUE. I will be creating watercolor paintings for the challenge as I aim to improve my watercolor skills. This is Day 4.
