Die hard mid century modern enthusiasts will no doubt recognize the starbursts in the wall art above the chair. Starburst is a line of dinnerware produced by Franciscan Ware. It was hugely popular then and it remains sought after today by collectors. My black cat picked this artwork for his modern room with the salmon pink wall because he thinks the light and medium blue starbursts compliment the blue interior of his gray ball chair just purrfectly.
This was my Day 32 entry in the 100 day challenge I'm participating in at Fineartamerica with other artists. It was hand painted using acrylics on an 11 X 14 stretched canvas.
