Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Please visit me at www.donnamibus.com for additional designs. These retro designs are inspired by my love of all things mid century modern. I grew up loving all the innovative designs from that time period: egg chairs, ball chairs, bubble lamps, beehive lamps, boomerangs, starbursts, atomic shapes and space age rockets. They got me excited about the future that lay ahead. Because I love cats, my abstract black cats appear in much of my work. I've also got a growing array of dog designs, having recently adopted three lovable dogs in real life. I hope my art makes you happy!
