Blue Fronted Parrot Day 5 Challenge metal print by Donna Mibus. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The turquoise fronted parrot, also called the blue fronted parrot, is a South American species of amazon parrot and one of the most common parrots kept in captivity as a pet. Its common name is derived from the distinctive turquoise marking on its head just above its beak. This is a watercolor painting I created while participating in an art Challenge with other artists here at Fineartamerica. Our goal is to create a brand new piece of art each day for five days straight. The theme for this Challenge is the color GREEN. I will be creating watercolor paintings for the challenge as I aim to improve my watercolor skills. This is Day 5.
