Description
The turquoise fronted parrot, also called the blue fronted parrot, is a South American species of amazon parrot and one of the most common parrots kept in captivity as a pet. Its common name is derived from the distinctive turquoise marking on its head just above its beak.
This is a watercolor painting I created while participating in an art Challenge with other artists here at Fineartamerica. Our goal is to create a brand new piece of art each day for five days straight. The theme for this Challenge is the color GREEN. I will be creating watercolor paintings for the challenge as I aim to improve my watercolor skills. This is Day 5.
