Description
Fans of Alessandro Pianon's hand blown glass birds from the 1960s will recognize this quaint fellow. When I hit the jackpot, I hope to own one of these special glass birds from the mid century. In the meantime, I will have to be content with painting one. Here is one of my favorites of his birds in teal, green and turquoise blue.
This painting was my Day 49 entry in the 100 day challenge I'm participating in at Fineartamerica with other artists. It was painted using acrylic paint on bright white watercolor paper.
